History

Stonehedges is open to the public and offers the best value in membership rates in the Ithaca, Cortland, and Groton area. In addition to low rates, members can own their own golf carts. The 18 hole course is well maintained and plays host to a number of prestigious tournaments. All of the fairways are neatly groomed and tree lined, yet can be forgiving for the occasional sprayed ball. The greens are reminiscent of many old courses around the country, filled with subtle breaks and changing elevation. With a total yardage at 6396 from the blue tees, it presents a challenge for even the finer player, while shorter yardage from the white, ladies, and senior tees makes the course a pleasurable golfing experience for all who play and enjoy the game.
