History

The Spook Rock Golf Course was re-designed with some major changes by Stephen Kaye. The golf course recently underwent a total irrigation system renovation abandoning a single line irrigation design and incorporating a state-of-the-art three line system that can deliver water under controlled circumstances to every part of the course layout.
The golf course has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments including a PGA qualifying round, several Metropolitan Golf Association Men’s and Women’s Public Links Championships, and the Rockland County Amateur to name a few. We are currently scheduled to host the Women’s Public links Championships in 2015, and the Men’s Public Links Championship in 2016.
The golf course has a unique layout and features water hazards on 7 of its holes. There are numerous sand bunkers both in the fairway and surrounding all the greens. The fairways are tightly tree lined.
Accolades aside, our golf course offers beginner and scratch golfers with a challenging opportunity on a daily basis. You need to play our course to appreciate its true beauty and challenge. We hope to see you soon!
