History

Founded in 1928, the Sedgewood Club is nestled within 1,200 secluded acres of hilltop woodland in the lower Hudson Valley, just over an hour north of New York City. The club offers a scenic nine-hole golf course, two red clay tennis courts, a private spring-fed lake for swimming, canoeing and sailing, an Adirondack-style boathouse and a warm, relaxed social experience. Roughly half of our membership own homes within the Club grounds and half of our membership reside outside of the Club in Putnam County, Westchester County, New York City & beyond.
