History

Livingston Country Club has been described as the “jewel” of the Genesee Valley and one of the premier public golf courses to play in the Greater Rochester Area.    A “must-play” semi-private course, L.C.C. has fast greens, wide fairways and friendly restaurant staff.  Membership in L.C.C.  offers both competitive and novice golfers competition, camaraderie, and opportunities for new friendships and acquaintances in a complete club atmosphere.

Located just 30 miles south of Rochester, N.Y. , between Conesus Lake and Letchworth State Park, L.C.C. is nestled in the historic village of Geneseo, home to S.U.N.Y. Geneseo.

LIVINGSTON COUNTRY CLUB MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Livingston Country Club, and its Board of Directors, is to provide its members and guests with “The Livingston Experience”; a combination of superior playing conditions at affordable rates, first class customer service and a rich, inclusive social environment.

A member-owned, semi-private enterprise that welcomes the public to its course and restaurant, Livingston Country Club shall strive to be the premier golf operation in Livingston County and rank as one of the top public courses in the Greater Rochester area as evidenced by an active, growing membership and a record of hosting Rochester District Golf Association events.

This mission will be accomplished by:

        • Having a Board of Directors that is, first and foremost, fiscally responsible to the equity membership.
        • Hiring a competent, dedicated professional staff; establishing high expectations of performance for the professional staff; holding the professional staff accountable for such.
        • Maintaining excellent, playable course conditions while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
        • Developing and embracing a symbiotic relationship with the restaurant tenant.
