History

The golf course was designed by USGA architect Nicholas Psiahas. The original 9 holes were opened in 1990. A second 9 holes were added in 1999. It is by far one of the most outstanding 18 hole, par 72 championship courses in the Northeast. This exceptional layout was carved into the natural terrain of the beautiful & majestic Blackhead Mountains of the Northern Catskills. It offers not only breathtaking scenery, but a tremendous challenge as well. There are water hazards, bunkers, doglegs and two-tier greens. Strategical shot placement will aid you on some of the narrow, tree-lined fairways. The breath taking views and serene atmosphere make this golf course very special. And, because of the extreme amount of TLC that is placed into the maintenance of this course by USGA Superintendent Edward Maassmann & his staff, it has proudly established the reputation of always being beautifully manicured and in great condition.

The professionally operated golf pro shop is fully stocked with the latest equipment, apparel and everyday golfing supplies. Our friendly staff is eager to assist you before, after and even during your round to ensure a pleasant experience. The rustic clubhouse (19th hole) is open every day serving lunch from 11:00 am till 4:00 pm. Come and join us in this unique setting and share your golfing ?tales? with friends new and old
