All players must submit their entry prior to the tournament's entry deadline (5:00 PM on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21, 2017). A player may register online through the NYSGA website (www.nysga.org). Any entries submitted via mail, email or fax will not be accepted.

Sectional qualifying will be required, free and open to all eligible, non-exempt participants.  All players who wish to qualify must have an active USGA handicap Index. (Click here) to create an official USGA Handicap through an NYSGA eClub.  All handicaps are free to players 18 and younger.  Players from sectional qualifying will be charged the championship entry fee only if they qualify for the championship proper, and decide to take the tournament spot.

NOTE: To create an official USGA handicap, follow these important instructions.  The link above will direct you to the NYSGA eClub page.  Find an eClub within 50 miles of your current address and click on that region's eClub.  Enter the eClub homepage, and fill out the personal information required, without filling out the GHIN number section. Be sure to select "Register As a Junior", in the personal information field (Birthdate required).  When selecting your membership level, select "2017 Membership Period - Junior Member - $0.00" from the drop down options. You won't be prompted to enter payment information. You will receive a confirmation email allowing you to sign in to the eClub, and your GHIN number will be displayed in your eClub profile.

NOTE: Players may use the GHIN mobile app to post scores and keep track of their Handicap Index.  Search "GHIN Mobile" in the App or google Play Store to download the software.  Handicaps become active once a player posts five, 18 hole rounds within the calendar year. Players may also post scores at nysga.org/ghin-post-a-score.

The entry fee of $100 will be charged to the card on file after qualifying for the championship. This fee will be refunded regardless of reason if requested 24 hours prior to the start of the championship.  A $15 service fee will be deducted from all refunds.
