 Format

Teams will consist of two players, and will be placed into the men's or women's divisions. Players' will use 90% of their course handicap which will be allotted appropriately to their individual play, with the best handicap score from each hole to be put towards the teams' final score. Flights will be determined based on the total number of entrants

                                                             Eligibility

To be eligible to compete in the Best Ball Net Events, participants must be amateur golfers who either enjoy membership privileges at Clubs belonging to the NYSGA or NYSGA Associate Members. Additionally, entrants must have an active USGA Handicap Index and must provide verification prior to the entry start date (GHIN number or proof of Handicap Index). Entrant's Handicap Index as of the entry close date will be used for the event.

                                                               Prizes

Each event's entry fee includes $10.00 per person ($20.00 per team) towards prizes in the the form of pro shop credit. These will be awarded on to the top finishers of each flight, and the amount will be determined based on the number of entrants. There will also be prizes for the gross winners of the men's and women's divisions.

How to Register

Registration for these events can be done one of two ways:

1. Paper Entry Form: Contestants may print the PDF Entry Form, fill out the necessary information for both players and mail it to the NYSGA with the payment.
2. Online Registration: Using the NYSGA's tournament software provider, Tournament Pairing Program (TPP), contestants can register and pay online for these events. It is a secure and rapid method of registration. Click here to create a account, or click here if you have an existing account.
