56th NYS Senior & Super Senior Amateur Championship
Wolferts Roost CC • Albany, NY • September 19-21, 2012
Eligibility
To be eligible to compete in this Championship, an entrant must:
- Be a minimum of 55 years of age on September 19, 2012,
- Conform to the USGA's "Rules of Amateur Status",
- Be a member in good standing at a NYSGA Member Club or be an active NYSGA Associate Member with their primary residence in New York state, and,
- Have an up-to-date Handicap Index from a golf club licensed to use the USGA Handicapping System.
Super Senior Amateur Championship
In addition to meeting the requirements stated above, players will be eligible to compete in the Super Senior Division if they are 65 years of age or older on September 19, 2012. Entrants in the Super Senior Division compete in the Senior and Super Senior Divisions concurrently, and thus may win both Championships.
Age Divisions
Players will also be competing in the following Age Divisions for prizes (gross only):
55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 +
Format
The format of both Championships is 54 holes of stroke play. The player with the lowest 54 hole score in each Division (Senior and Super Senior) will be the Champion. If a tie exists at the end of 54 holes, a sudden-death playoff will be used to determine the Champion.

| 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. | Contestant Dinner. Guest tickets for dinner will be available at a price TDB. | ||

| 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. | Round 1 - 18 Holes. Morning round for 78 players - 1st and 10th tees. |

| 12:15 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. | Round 1 - 18 Holes. Afternoon round for 78 players - 1st and 10th tees. |

| Saturday, September 29 | |||
| 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. | Round 2 - 18 Holes. Play will begin off the 1st tee. |
||
After Round 2, each Age Division will be cut to the low 50% and ties and anyone within 10 strokes of the lead in their respective Championship Division. |

| 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. | Round 3 - 18 Holes. Play will begin off the 1st tee. |

A playoff, if necessary, will immediately follow the conclusion of play. |

In order to receive the group rates, advise the hotel that you are a New York State Golf Association participant. Reservations must be made directly with the hotel and will require a credit card to guarantee your reservation. If you must cancel your reservation please do so at least 24 hours prior to your check in date to avoid being charged for the room.
