Get GHIN at Your Club

Unlike most other handicap vendors, GHIN services are offered to clubs and courses exclusively through State, Regional, or District Golf Associations.  The Golf Associations perform an important job in fostering all aspects of amateur golf, including helping golfers learn how to use the USGA Handicap System™. Those activities parallel some key purposes of the USGA®.

The Golf Handicap and Information Network® is the largest handicapping service provider in the United States. Approximately 1.9 million golfers with GHIN numbers can post their scores at any of the over 10,000 clubs using GHIN in 42 states, Puerto Rico and Bermuda and have their scores routed back to their home club(s). Any club can perform inquiries to check on scores and handicaps for its own events. Golf Associations using GHIN have grown in membership, on an average, 4.3 percent annually.

Golf Clubs wishing to use GHIN need to get the service through an affiliated golf association. Please have a club officer contact us at the NYSGA.  Send us an e-mail, snail mail at our address or call us at any of the phone numbers. We will be in touch with you promptly.

If you have any questions regarding the USGA Handicap System, please email Scott Gerbereux, NYSGA Director of Handicapping.
