NYSGA Championship Program
Since its inception in 1923, the New York State Golf Association has hosted a number of Amateur Golf Championships throughout our state. These Championships are regularly moved around the state so everyone will have the opportunity to compete at a site near where they live on a rotating basis.
The Men's Amateur Championship, Men's Mid-Amateur Championship, and Junior & Boys Championship are so popular that they require us to have sectional Qualifiers around the State. These Sections are Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Finger-Lakes, Long Island, Mid-Hudson, North Country, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica/Rome and Watertown.
