The second NYSGA State Day Tournament of 2008 took place on Thursday, July 10 at the Lake Placid Club on the Links Course. With favorable scoring conditions, the local members swept the awards.
The low gross score was 77 shot by Andrew Donatello, a 7.1 Index from Lake Placid Club. Art Devlin, a 9.4 Index also from Lake Placid Club, won the men’s low net award with a 71. He bested fellow club members John Rosenthal (net 72) and Ed Good (net 73). Men’s hole-by-hole results, click here.
In the women’s flight, Kathy Gilligen won with a net score of 67. Also a member of Lake Placid Club, she beat members Judi Good (net 72) and Sue Devlin (net 85).
