Qualifying Pairings will appear in the left column when they become available.  Once posted, all pairings are final and no switching of qualifying sites is allowed.

The NYSGA has received a total of 557 entries for the 86th NYSGA Men’s Amateur Championship to be held at Pinehaven CC beginning July 15, 2008. 

Pairing information will be available for the Eagle Crest qualifier on Friday, May 30th.  Pairings for the rest of the qualifiers will be available the week of June 2nd.  All pairings will be posted here on the home page and once posted are final.

Entries for the 86th NYSGA Men’s Amateur close Thursday, May 29th at 5:00pm.  No late entries will be accepted.  If you have any trouble registering, don’t hesitate to contact us at nysga@nysga.org.

After careful consideration and discussion, the NYSGA would like to announce that Distance Measuring Devices, or DMD’s, will be allowed at all NYSGA Championships and Qualifiers in 2008.

In accordance with USGA Decision 14-3/0.5, a player may use a DMD that provides information on distance only.  Use of a device which is capable of measuring any other condition (wind speed, gradient, etc.) will result in disqualification.  DMD’s are considered equipment under the Rules of Golf and information gathered may be shared with fellow competitors or opponents.  Finally, scores made with the use of DMD’s must be posted for handicap purposes.
